Cullen Husby, PCC Trainee

As a dedicated clinical counseling trainee specializing in trauma recovery, I am committed to offering compassionate and empathetic support to those grappling with the complexities of trauma-related experiences. Currently, I am pursuing my clinical counseling internship at the University of Phoenix, under the expert supervision of Carmen Isais.

My primary goal is to create a safe, validating, and therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their trauma histories, heal from emotional wounds, and regain a sense of empowerment and resilience. I firmly believe in the inherent capacity for growth and healing within every individual.

In addition to my focus on trauma recovery, I have experience working with clients facing depression and anxiety. I strive to provide tailored, holistic support that addresses the unique needs of each individual. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), integrating this innovative approach to help clients achieve profound therapeutic breakthroughs and enhanced emotional well-being.

My counseling approach is rooted in a strengths-based perspective, emphasizing clients’ resilience and their ability to overcome obstacles. By fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship, I aim to assist clients in harnessing their inner strengths to navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful change. Utilizing evidence-based practices, I strive to help clients reach their personal and therapeutic goals through a process grounded in empathy and collaboration.

I look forward to working with you and supporting you in reaching your therapy goals.
