With a background in small-scale sustainable agriculture, I understand that, much like farming, life presents many factors beyond our control. We often face challenges that seem insurmountable, sometimes through no fault of our own. However, what remains within our control is how we respond to these challenges—an opportunity to uncover our strength and resilience. I commend you for taking the first steps toward your own growth and healing.
As a full-time single parent and a survivor in many respects, I am deeply familiar with adversity, trauma, and grief. This lived experience informs my work with a high level of empathy, awareness, and compassion. I have worked extensively with children and youth navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, and discrimination, as well as with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My approach is client-centered and solution-focused, recognizing that healing is deeply personal and unique to each individual. To best support my clients, I draw from a wide range of trauma-informed therapies and modalities tailored to their specific needs.
I strive to cultivate a safe, confidential, and supportive space grounded in empathy, respect, honesty, and humility. I believe that every individual is the expert on their own life, and I take a collaborative approach—walking alongside my clients as they work toward a more resilient, fulfilled, and authentic self.
