The time has come . . . you may have thought to yourself, it’s for change, it’s time for help, it’s time for support, or even it’s for someone to listen without judgement. That is what I offer as a counselor. I also believe that therapy is a place for laughter, tears, and self discovery and equipped with two practiced ears, a sense of curiosity, and a passion for understanding and helping others find their path, I could be the right therapist for you.
As your therapist, I will provide you with a warm and inviting space in which to explore your needs, thoughts, and life experiences to support your direction, goals, and vision for your future self. There are periods in life which call for one to widen their circle of support and I can offer that wider net. Working from an integrative style and a client centered approach provides a breadth of experience from which I will draw on to tailor an individualized approach to best fit your needs as a client.
My focus and therapeutic interests lie with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with diagnoses ranging from Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and Trauma to Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I have 5 years of experience working therapeutically utilizing Behavior Therapy while working with individuals, families, and parents of children recently diagnosed, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Psychodynamic with children, teens, and their families addressing trauma related challenges, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and other social emotional challenges our teens are facing.
