I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee, U.S. Army Veteran, mother, and active community member. I have held a variety of roles and believe that they all provide an opportunity for a better understanding of the issues my clients face in their own lives. I can assist clients with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, challenges at work and life transitions, parenting, relationship issues, anger management, and children focused therapy using Play Therapy to name a few.
Over the past 6 years I have worked with individuals, couples, groups, children, families, and Veterans. I have over 5 years of Social Service and Advocacy work experience. My work in Family Advocacy included working with domestic violence victims and survivors, new parents, service members in transition, children, adolescents, and community partners.
When working with clients, my objective is to help others overcome personal obstacles while improving their overall well-being. As an empathetic and compassionate counselor, I aim to identify individual, couple, or family problems while looking for ways to improve communication and provide a safe environment for clients to explore issues and challenges they face.
I am honored to provide assistance to others while we uncover strengths and resources in order to bring about change. This is a journey for both of us and a collaborative process in which we both can share and experience the process of change together.
