Allison Barragan, AMFT

My goal in providing therapy is to create a safe space that is client-centered, empowering and free of judgment. I partner with my clients (and their families, when appropriate) to facilitate, lead and serve as a guide towards healing.
My practice focuses on working with individuals, adolescents, and school-age children. Issues I can help with include anxiety, depression, grief and issues of self-esteem. Unwanted behaviors we can address range from those that create difficulties peer-relationships, limiting beliefs that lead to low self-esteem and patterns of self-harm.
I believe in the power of therapy. My experience has allowed me to witness the resiliency of the human spirit, the importance of having a guide & the ability we all share to grow. It is my hope, in working with my clients, to help them move from surviving to thriving– from “holding on” to healing.
